Distress Stains - A Butterfly Tag!

Good Morning!
This week the Design Team are focusing on Distress Stains! If you aren't already familiar with these they are basically the liquid form of Distress Inks by Tim Holtz. Perfect for creating quick coloured backgrounds on tags which is exactly what I used them for on today's creation! This would be great for any beginner crafter to try as it's a lot easier than it looks :)

To create this tag swipe a selection of stains over a blank tag, spritz with water and dry with a heat gun. Using the Picket Fence Distress Stains swipe over a script style background stamp, press onto the tag and also heat set. Next ink up a butterfly stamp with two shades of Distress Ink and cover with with clear embossing powder then heat. I think this gives a great effect and makes the butterflies stand out just that little bit more :) Embellish the tag with a selection of flowers, charms and ribbon.

(I forgot to add the Picket Fence Distress Stain to the photo, oops!)
